What is Herramientas Gratis Team?
Herramientas Gratis Team is a set of free, browser-based PDF tools. They let you convert, compress, merge, split, edit and protect PDF files directly in your browser — no software to install.
Is it really free?
Yes, all tools are completely free. There are no hidden costs, no credit card required, and no subscription. We are funded through non-intrusive advertising.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can use all tools without signing up or logging in. Just upload your file, process it, and download the result.
Are there usage limits?
You can process as many files as you need. The maximum size per file is 50 MB. For larger files, consider splitting them before processing.
Are my files safe?
Yes. All transfers use HTTPS encryption. Your file is uploaded to a secure server, processed in isolation, and automatically deleted after you download it. No one else can access it.
How long are files stored?
Files are automatically deleted from the server 2 hours after being processed, or immediately when you close the session. We do not store permanent copies.
What is the maximum file size?
The limit is 50 MB per file. For tools that accept multiple files at once (such as Merge PDF), the limit applies to each individual file.
Can you see the contents of my files?
No. All processing is fully automated. No employee or system of ours reads or analyzes the content of your documents. Your files remain private.
What tools do you offer?
We offer more than 25 PDF tools: convert to PDF (Word, Excel, JPG, PowerPoint...), convert from PDF, compress, merge, split, rotate, add watermarks, password-protect, and much more.
Do the tools work on mobile?
Yes. All tools are fully responsive and work on smartphones and tablets with any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
Can I process multiple files at once?
It depends on the tool. Merge PDF, for example, accepts up to 20 files at once. Other tools like Compress PDF allow batch uploading. Check the description of each individual tool.
What file formats are supported?
We accept the most common formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, JPG, PNG, WEBP, SVG, HTML and more. Each tool specifies the accepted formats on its own page.
Why did my conversion fail?
The most common causes are: a corrupted or password-protected file, a size over 50 MB, an unsupported format, or an unstable connection. Check these conditions and try again. If the problem persists, contact us.
Does it work offline?
No. Processing takes place on our servers, so you need an active internet connection. Some browsers may load the interface from cache, but conversion always requires a connection.
